Meet Betsy
Betsey is Dexies daughter from her first litter. As it is important for me that our girls live in family homes we have an agreement with our friends Gary, Lucy and Annalise that Betsy lives with them 95% of the time and comes to us for her vet tests and for breeding.
To be used for breeding, my girls must pass a series of strict health tests and be considered suitable. The benefit of an extended breeding pack living with other families is that if Betsy had failed her health tests she would not have to be rehomed or block a breeding space in my pack.
In all that I have read about dog psychology it is also better for breeding dogs if they are brought up and live in loving home conditions, allowing them to develop strong emotional bonds with their owners which is passed down to their offspring.

Dexie and Betsy 2013. It's quite hard to tell Dexie and Betsy apart. Betsy is slightly lighter in colour, however their personalities are very similar. Betsey is just as loving and gentle as her mum.
